Our 47kg cylinder is the largest cylinder size in our range. This propane bottle has a wide range of uses and it’s a great option for customers who don’t have the space for an LPG bulk tank. It’s also perfect for commercial heating and industrial processes. Ideal for outdoor use, heating systems, cooking, patio heaters etc.

This gas cylinder is filled with 47kg of propane gas. This cylinder requires a 37mbar Propane Regulator.

Can I collect my order direct from one of your sites?

Yes you can order online or by phone and come and collect you order from out site where our staff will be happy to help you with loading. This applies to pre-packed fuels only. Loose coal or smokeless fuels can only be delivered.

How long will it take to receiveWhen do you do deliveries? my order?

Our deliveries are between 07:30 and 16:00 Monday to Friday.

Where do you deliver to?

We deliver to over 90% of England, Scotland and Wales. We can provide loose bulk deliveries or pre-packed fuels to specific local postcodes within an approximate 30 mile radius of Shropshire (Postcodes: SY1, SY2, SY3, SY4, SY5, SY6, SY7, SY8, SY9,
TF1, TF2, TF3, TF4, TF5, TF6, TF7, TF8, TF9, TF10, TF11). Palletised kerb side pre-packed sack deliveries are available to all destinations.

How will my order be delivered?

  • Local deliveries will be delivered to your address in a pickup where it will be unloaded by hand and moved to you chosen place of storage
  • Palletised deliveries are delivered to your address buy van/ lorry wrapped on a pallet. The pallet will be unloaded to the nearest suitable and practical place near or on your premises. The pallet will not be unpacked for you so unpacking and physical handling may be required.

How do I know when my delivery will arrive?

  • Deliveries will be either in a morning slot or and afternoon slot.
  • If you place your order online we will contact you straight away to arrange a suitable deliver time.
  • If you order over the phone we will arrange your deliver at the time.

How long will it take my order to be delivered?

Usually 2-3 working days, however should you order be urgent we will do our best to deliver as soon as possible.

Do you have a minimum order?

Yes, the minimum quantity order is 150kg for local deliveries, and 250kg for UK wide deliveries.

Can I order more than one type of coal or smokeless fuel?

Yes, you can order any combination of coal, smokeless fuel or wood products that you need.

How do I order Coal from Ridge Fuels?

You can order your fuels from Ridge Fuels in two ways:

  • Directly online through the website. Choose your desired fuel/s select the quantity and submit your location details and payment for delivery.
  • Call for friendly no obligation guidance and complete your order over the phone.

Can I buy House Coal in England?

House Coal is banned from sale in England. Please do not purchase House Coal from our website if you live in England. Please see our Smokeless Fuel.

If you live in Scotland or Wales, you are not affected by this ban; Scotland and Wales are still able to purchase House Coal.

Why Use Smokeless Fuel?

Smokeless fuels are basically cleaner and less harmful types of combustion fuels for the environment. Smokeless fuels in most cases are man-made and have a reduced sulphur content that reduces the carbon and particle emissions during the burning process. They are designed to be a consistent size to provide longer burning time with higher radiating heat output that regular bituminous coals. In many cases they are also designed to generate less ash waste. Smokeless coals are not only suitable for use in smoke controlled areas, they can be used anywhere and are often an environmentally friendly substitute other forms of fuel such as wood products.
